Therefore, it is unlikely that the inflaton decays in 10 ^-35 seconds - in one form or another it must be present now - producing the space-time necessary for the constant expansion of the visible Universe - most likely, it is present in the form of a one-sided adiabatic film on border with nothingness.
It is not difficult to make a qualitative assessment of the duration of the expansion of the Universe, using the concept of relic radiation - photons that arose at the time of its birth from the inflaton and survived to our time.
In the family of Planck units, there is a maximum temperature for relic photons:
T_max=1.417*10^32 K.
It is easy to construct the minimum temperature - for example, using the Hubble constant
H0=2.2*10^-18 Hz, - then for the minimum temperature we have:
T_min=h*H0/k=1.056*10^-28K,
- here h and k are the Planck and Boltzmann constants.
Natural logarithm of temperature ratio:
ln(T_max/T_min)=138,
- this value is close in reciprocal of the fine structure constant
Now the temperature of relic photons is about 2.7 K - it will take a long time to cool down to the minimum, even if the cooling is exponential.
So, we still have time to think about the nature of things, - and it seems that we will not move en masse into the next of the three likenesses of the Creator soon, but inevitably, - in accordance with the well-known principle - "want live to last - have to spin fast". Rotation makes life fascinatingly variable - and helps to see Yin-Yang in a photo of the Moon and a map of the Universe.
