Marianne grew up in that distant and wonderful time when the cameras were film, and family archives were rarely updated with new photographs. Sometimes a parent took a photo at a holiday in kindergarten, and then, as a noble gesture, printed a photo for other parents.
In Soviet times, teachers in kindergarten paid much attention to the organization of matinees.
In this photo you can see Marianne, emotionally reciting poem. She is wearing a pleated skirt and knee-high socks. She is very serious and opens her mouth wide. Pay attention to the portrait of Lenin and the Kremlin in the background of the holiday decorations.
She seems to be telling the poem by Sergey Esenin "The winter sings - aloud it yells":
"The winter sings - aloud it yells,
The pine tree with its hundred bells
Lulls shaggy forest and
Around it all the rain-drenched clouds
Are sadly mounting in their crowds
To float to distant land..."
Such holidays were accompanied by a musical part. One may watch the children dancing in pairs (in the background is the same Kremlin from plywood, and on the left you can see a row of chairs painted in the style of Khokhloma) :
Here at the same concert, a group of children is simultaneously synchronously playing musical instruments called metallophones:
I can't help inserting one more photo in this text where a group of children including me with glasses and short hair is walking vigorously and happily to the music with little flags in their hands:
Probably the most touching holiday in kindergarten is the New Year. Little girls usually dressed up as New Year's Snowflakes. Look at how picturesquely attentive Marianne listens to the words of the Snow Maiden with her head in kokoshnik, addressed to a group of Snowflakes:
But Marianne has grown a little and now goes to another building at a distance of about a kilometer from the first one - to School Country.
"Don't spin the colorful globe,
You will not find on it
Such a country, a special country
We sing this song about... "
Of course, New Year's matinees were also held at school. In this photo, Marianne is dressed in some other kind of New Year's costume:
The main event that parents were photographing at school was the so-called Knowledge Day September 1.
Usually on this day in the street in front of the school building a traditional festive event was held. That day children used to come with bouquets of flowers, sometimes flowers were not bought, but brought from a garden plot near the family summer cottage. Marianne is dressed in knee socks and a special white apron, which used to be put on a school dress for special occasions. At other times, a black apron was put on the school girl's brown dress.
And at this school event in the left you can see drummers dressed in pioneer caps. Besides you can see the adult pioneer leader girls dressed in pioneer ties and the image of Lenin as a curly haired boy inside the circle of the red banner. Marianne wears tight tights that form annoying folds.
This pioneer event looks a little similar to the image from the canonical Soviet textbooks:
But finally Marianne has grown up, so wonderful school years were over and graduation evening has come.
Closer to graduation, I became a quite fashionable girl, constructing a hairstyle with a tease, using a red-hot screwdriver instead of curling iron. A solution of sugar replaced hair gel.
At the beginning of this evening, the school principal handed a diploma of secondary education to all students of the tenth grade. On the right in this photo you can see a part of the sound equipment for the upcoming disco in the assembly hall.
I came to prom in an elegant dress, which had been bought for my elder sister in the "Beryozka' currency shop shortly before this. The new dress, a festive event and the very fact of leaving school and entering an alluring adult life - all this caused an excited mood in my soul, and it seemed to me that something interesting was to happen that day.
Perhaps a romantic aura and an adventurous readiness for adventure were flyimg around me.
Someone brought the homebrew wine, and it was secretly proposed to taste in some inner circle of selected.
