    Thirteen years of philosophy - is that a long time? From Aristotle and Nietzsche to Spinoza and Voltaire - the path of searching for truth through nihilism and faith. These are not abstract reasonings, but a strict discipline of meaning, which gave the strength to survive and find purpose in suffering.

   For thirteen years, since 2012, philosophy has been my anchor through profound hardships-war, hunger, oppression, racial segregation, and religious intolerance. My journey began with Aristotle"s rigorous logic and Nietzsche"s bold critique, their contrasting yet resonant ideas shaping my perspective. Since 2014, I have endured eleven years of conflict, surviving threats to my life from bullets and venomous words. From 2015 to 2018, I faced three years of hunger, grappling with disillusionment and the loss of loved ones, testing my resilience to its core.
   Initially a believer, I wrestled with faith, echoing Blaise Pascal"s sentiment: "Le Dieu des pêcheurs galiléens n"est pas le Dieu des philosophes!" Cycling through nihilism, atheism, and belief, I sought truth over rhetoric, declaring in Latin, "Ego sum quaesitor veritatis, non captator verborum." Since 2022, engaging with Spinoza"s Ethics, Voltaire"s Candide and Leibniz"s Theodicy, I have pondered why human nature is drawn to destruction, pain, and sorrow. Is it physical evil, moral failing, or a transcendent force that propels our existence toward suffering for others? These texts offer no simple answers but frame the question as a philosophical crucible, urging me to probe the depths of human existence.
   Philosophy, for me, is not theology"s servant nor a flamboyant trade peddling colorful rhetoric; it is a disciplined pursuit of meaning. Drawing on Epicurus"s wisdom-that no one is too young or too old for philosophy-I find resilience and clarity. It equips me to confront life"s chaos, transforming adversity into a source of growth. Philosophy is not merely a tool for survival but the essence of my existence, providing purpose amidst suffering.
