Елена в тунике прозрачной
Из вод прохладных выходила.
Купанье было столь удачным!
Она художника схватила....
За что она его схватила?
Волна прохладная лишь знает.
Но свято тайну сохранила,
Как воды тайны сберегают.
И был художник весь в смущеньи.
Он был немного недотрога.
Но, выпив, стал раскрепощенней
И попросил еще потрогать....

Having on her the see-through tunic
Belle Helen* issued from the water.
Her bathing was observed by Cupid,
She got an author in her grotto.
What did she catch him by? Oh-oh!
Cool water was an only witness,
It kept its secret, even in awe,
It is the way it keeps the secrets.
The author felt abashed a little.
He was a timid and shy person.
