   I live! In body failed and crude,
   In starless warmless solitude,
   With soul of mine both ill and nude,
   With thoughts both weird and misconceived.
  
   I live! In thunders, winds and snow,
   In barren lands, in deserts' glow,
   In days of joy and days of frown,
   In wonders one can't but perceive.
  
   I live! Under a welcome sky,
   In worlds where nothing passes by,
   With evils distant, beauty nigh.
   I live. I shall not die.
