  For a long time they say, January is coming.
  The Pokrovskie Gate keeps, as always,
  Frozen shadows on guard in honour...
  Crystal wing of an angel got caught in electrical wire -
  And the time is being torn...
  That is just the beginning -
  You were so close, it seemed I could touch you
  By simply moving my hand -
  
  But there you are
  Standing in endless snow.
  Cloaked in the scarlet and purple,
  With your feet not touching the earth.
  
  I could have understood so much -
  But gone is that line,
  Which was separating
  The natural course of things.
  I"m scared to cast my eyes
  And discover chimaerical beings
  That hold you within the transparent walls of ice.
  The spring"s approaching. Water
  Will come to forever dissolve the echo of our tread,
  And the phantom will go as well...
  All that"s beyond the meaning of words.
  You know, I cannot be right -
  That is why I shall never ask:
  
  "Stay with me,
  In this endless snow.
  Be cloaked in the scarlet and purple.
  Let your feet do not touch the earth..."
  
  ...And the ship"s going on.
  How strange that she is still sailing.
  Look around yourself in the morning -
  Reality and the dreams
  Are appearing to be the same...
  But we belong to the circle of chosen ones -
  We are of those, who're born, who sing
  And die, all without their skin...
  How long the heart"s beating against the ice -
  Never long enough...
  
  Till you are there, above,
  In the endless snow.
  Cloaked in the scarlet and purple,
  With your feet not touching the earth...
