  I want you each to grow old
  
   To keep your dreams inside.
  
   It's getting dark, it's getting cold
  
   In humankind and your mind.
  
   You should've kept your feelings
  
   And been so deep in thoughts.
  
   If you had not been sleeping
  
   And changed the ways and plots...
  
   It can't be true that you're awake
  
   You could have failed to hide a lie.
  
   You must survive for heaven's sake,
  
   At least alone... to be alive.
  
   It looks as if the only person
  
   Could save their life from sunless days.
  
   Oh if there were a special poison
  
   Oh if it cursed the humans games...
  
   Oh if it helped to ease the pain
  
   Of every single person's deed
  
   You would neglect the foolish play
  
   And would get rid of it indeed.
  
   I want you each to grow old
  
   To be so innocent but wise
  
   Because you are to hold this world
  
   You are to pay for its sunrise.
