A HUMAN BY NATURE

(BORN TO BE A HUMAN)

"What is our life? What do I live for? Why is it always so difficult to live in harmony with my and other people's wishes? Is this world worth living in it?" - Such questions I often ask myself and it tends to become more complicated to answer them.
I am 20 years old now and sometimes I realize that it is very much. It comes to me that we spend too much time on the things, which do us and other people no good. We are wasting our best years hesitating, arguing, taking offence or offending somebody. We are always eager something that is beyond us and we are very seldom satisfied with ourselves. Envy spoils even the best people's souls. This is not only the envy of other people's money, property and many different material things but also this is the envy of their ambitions, abilities, success and personal characteristics such as a strong will, mind, witness. Finally, we envy of people who do have their own clear targets for the whole life and make successful steps to reach them. This results in misunderstanding, quarrels and even in wars.
"Every man is born to be happy", - one clever person said. There is a saying: `If you want to be happy - just be happy". I think all our troubles occur because we are permanently trying to "catch" our "star", happiness. Usually our most pleasant thoughts aim to the future and it is typical of us to imagine the present as an obstacle race. Meanwhile the beautiful words of one song are: "There is an instant between the past and the future and it is called as Life". I do not mean at all that it is harmful to dream - vice versa, the dreams make our life intelligent: no animals do dream. However, dreams are a kind of denial, the denial of the reality. It turns out most people do not respect their life. They consider it an intermediate component, which links their wishes to the implementation of them. However, our needs are unlimited and when we get the things wanted we are less glad than it had seemed to us before. Thus, we are often disappointed with ourselves. Of course, it does not lead to self-esteem. Moreover, it is a well-known thing that one who does not love oneself cannot love anyone else. That is the reason why people miss their real happiness and feel deceived or avoided by destiny.
I am sure the first step one should make to enjoy one's life is to learn to appreciate every moment of the existence. There are so many things to be enraptured by! The human is the best creature not only because he or she could subdue the nature but also because the human has a great knowledge of living in harmony with it. Unfortunately, a large number of us have lost the habit of contacts with the nature. We exploit its wealth, paying no attention to its signs. We stood out of the animals long ago but as fast as we go on moving away from the nature we are breaking of such feelings as delight with the natural beauty, sincerity, love... It becomes easier to tell a lie, hurt somebody, and pass by somebody's grief. It becomes easier to be cruel...
Nevertheless, the nature is able to answer all our questions, help us to understand ourselves and find mental equilibrium. It can explain our relations with other people, with the rest of living creatures. There are two main natural laws in the world. The first one says imperfection provokes diversity. There are so many kinds of things, animals, and people. Nevertheless, none is perfect. The world itself is perfect because it is full of every person, stone and bacterium. There are no good or bad creatures. We all are interdependent. The statement determines relations between us. We need one another. That is why one has not the right to sort the representatives of the environment out and to destroy something or someone as unnecessary or dangerous. Fortunately, human race has realized that to live in harmony means to live together first. Among animals, they achieve such harmony elementally following the second natural law, which results from the first one: "Everything beyond measure is harm." There is a constant balance in the nature. For example, wolves and other predators never kill more hares or deer, than they need to relieve hunger. If they did such things, they could exterminate these animals very quickly and then they would starve.
However, the human has lost the link with the nature and now he has to find the way to live in harmony with the rest of the world by himself. Sometimes his mistakes and experiments cause irretrievable disasters. A great number of "Homo Sapiens" kill other ones in wars, poison rivers and oceans with oil, pollute air with gases and so on as if they do not understand that such actions destroy their and their descendents` lives...
"A human is born to be happy"...Our happiness depends on us. It is among us. That are things, people near us, our feelings, emotions and hopes. The happiness is to love and take care of our world, the people who are close to us, the nature as that all is really worth admiration and because we need one another. In such a way we shall learn to live in harmony with the whole world and be able to respect our life.

... When I wake up in the morning I see sunshine, high beautiful trees, my dear people and just passers-by. I smile and think how lucky I am that I was born and now I am living on this Planet!
