Day zero fucks given in Equestria.
At first this obsessed orange p0ny was hilarious.
And most of the time you could avoid her advances or get help from Rainbro.
But now it was getting just plain annoying.
Rainbro should already have been here by now. You agreed to meet near the lake
at sunrise - instead you got Applejack hanging on you.
'Why are you here? Shouldn't you be at your farm bucking trees or something?'
She showed a big grin: 'Ah'm sure we can think of something better to do,
now that Dash's outta the way!'
'What.'
The grin broadened even more, though it had seemed impossible.
'This!'
She jumped at you, knocking you down and sticking her disgusting snout into your face.
Probably this was supposed to be a kiss. Also, she was trying to put her hoof in your pants.

Whatever, now you were really angry - and worried about Rainbro.
Enough being nice and trying to cope with this shit.
With the power of zillion suns you plant your knee into her crotchboobs.
Throwing Applejack to the side, you got up, 
picked up her head by the mane and yelled into her eyes:
'What have you done to her?!'
She couldn't answer. Hell, she wasn't even able to cry in pain. Nice crit, man.
But now you needed answers. You dragged the p0ny to the lake.
And shoved her head into the water. Repeatedly, because the first try didn't help.
Also, a couple of times after she became somewhat more responsive.
Because you wanted to.
She struggled to get free, but you put your trustworthy old knife to her right eye.
'Now please tell me, what have you done to Rainbro?'
'Let me go!'
'Wrong answer.' You plucked her eye out, impaling it on the knife and
waving it in front of the other, still intact one.
She gasped in shock, unable to believe this is happening for real. Too bad for her.
'So, what did you do to her?'
'Tell me now, or I'm showing you how humans eat meat. Right here.'
The look on her face was priceless.
'Ah just made sure she cannot interfere...'
Sounds bad.
'Where is she?'
'Ah left her in the bushes near the Fluttershy's cottage...'
This pushed your anger over the top. With a quick slice you slit her throat.
You didn't think about any consequences, this was not the time for that.
The faint glow that flowed from Applejack to you was not of your concern either.
You were busy running for the forest.

Rainbro wasn't too hard to find.
In fact, the rainbow tail sticking out of the bush was difficult to miss.
Carefully unfolding the bush, you looked over the pegasus that became your best bro ever.
Her body was heavily bruised - and one wing at least dislocated, if not broken.
And tied up with a lasso. Over the wing.
That orange bitch.
Only now you noticed that you still had the knife in your hand,
having lost the eye somewhere on the way.
Trying to be as gentle as possible, you cut the rope to free your bro.
She opened her eyes.
'Anon! Did she... Did she do anything to you?'
She was incredible. Even now she cared about you more than about herself.
'I'm fine. But you obviously need help.'
Rainbro frowned, trying to get up, but failed due to having been tied up for so long.
'She pounced me, I was not ready! And gimme a few seconds, I will be okay!'
You caught her strangely angled wing so that she did not hurt herself more.
'Calm down, you are more injured than you think. So we are getting you to the hospital.'
She tried to yank the wing from your grasp and couldn't help crying out in pain.
Hell, her wings must be really sensitive for her to cry like that, being tough as she is.
Her face was so cute with this expression of disappointment that you wanted to...
Heh, why not. Tired of trying to lie with your behavior. Being honest it is.

You leaned forward and planted a soft kiss on her lips.

On the way to P0nyville Rainbro was unusually quiet.
She walked slowly, staring at the road, not saying a word, even when you washed the dirt
off her wounds. Even when you used some random stick and the remains of the lasso 
to fixate her broken wing.
You watched her, ready to help if needed.

 

Most of the time she would be much more confident. Some even called her obnoxious. Bragging.
You knew what was hidden under this all too thin shell.
You knew how vulnerable and gentle Dash was inside, trying to mask it
and be strong in this vast and rough world.
You loved her for who she was. Whole, with all her little quirks and big habits.
Too bad you were too unsure about making this a proper relationship, instead of
dancing around each other, calling yourselves 'bros'...
To put it straight, you were a coward.
What if it ended badly? What if it was not what she really wanted?
What if she would be disgusted by you showing 'this kind of interest'?
Maybe, having her as a 'bro' was much better than losing her altogether?

Enough of that whimpyness.

'I would carry you, if you think you can hold onto me, all these bruises and such.'
Rainbro abruptly stopped and turned to you, locking her eyes with yours.
'I can handle myself, you don't need to!..'
'I know that you can. But I want to carry you. Be so kind to allow me, please?'
Dash was speachless. Blushing heavily, she stared at the ground.
You decided to take that for a nod.

Entering P0nyville with exhausted pegasus for a backpack elicited quite a few whispers.
Sure, not every day they see 'the fastest flyer of all Equestria' in such a shape.
Dash hid her face in your hood, not wanting to look at them.
Good that the hospital wasn't too far away.
Too bad P0nyville was a small town. The very moment you got to Nurse Redheart and wanted to
start describing what happened, you were interrupted by all of the remaining
Elements of Harmony rushing through the door.
PP: 'Oh_sweet_Celestia_what_hapened_to_you_you_definitely_need_some_cheering_up_i_will_
_immediately_set_up_a_party_to_cheer_you_up_because_you_need_it_so_i_will_do_it!'
TS: 'Pinkie, stop! We have a dangerous matter at hand!'
TS: 'Anonymous, you were seen carrying Rainbow Dash from the Everfree Forest.'
'That i was.'
TS: 'What kind of a beast attacked her? We need to dispose of that threat immediately!'
RD: 'You know, I'm still alive. You could just ask me. And - it was Applejack.'
FS: 'How... Why would she do such a thing? I mean, I'm not calling you a liar...'
Nurse Redheart:'But you are. Listen, this little chat is nice and such, but we really
need to tend to her injures first.'
FS: 'Oh, sorry...' 
TS: 'But if Applejack did it, we need to find her!'
TS: 'And make sure she won't hurt anyone else!'
'I already made sure of that. You can find her by the lake.'
'Actually, i suggest you go there right now and let Nurse Redheart handle the situation here.'
RT: 'A splendid idea. Now, girls, lets go!'
Looks like Rarity got very uneasy with her friend in such a state and was eager to jump at
the opportunity to leave. If only she knew what she would find at the lake...

After Rainbro had been taken care of by Nurse Redheart, you stayed in her room.
Just sitting on the floor near the bed and being silent.
You felt that it was what your bro needed. Being alone would be... Uncomfortable for her.
Trying to spark a conversation would be too awkward. Just some friendly silence was for the best.

Also, you had another reason to just sit there and wait.
Speaking of which, if you calculations were correct, it was about time.
'Stop right there, criminal scum!'
Yeah, that.
Suddenly the already not too huge room became much smaller.
No wonder. With two royal guards and Celestia herself even the Elements of Harmony
had to wait outside together with some more guards, trying to peek into the open door.

Celestia looked like she was made of stone, her voice firm but still quiet.
'Explain yourself, Anonymous. Why did you do that to Applejack?'
'Because I could not forgive her for doing what she did.'
'Because I despise those who try to force themselves on me like that.'
'Because I care about Dashie.'

Rainbow Dash appeared dumbstruck. She couldn't even imagine you calling her 'Dashie'.
Even after everything that happened that day. This was absolutely too much for her.
You heard Fluttershy quietly call you a monster.
Pinkie was silent. That was a relief, seriously.
RT: 'But... But... Don't you even regret what you did?'
'I do. I do regret I went so easy on her. For what she did to Dashie, she deserved much more.'
'Though if I could replay the situation, I probably wouldn't change anything.'
'Saving Dashie was top priority, I had no time for redemption.'
TS: 'And what do you think we can do now without Apllejack as an Element of Harmony?'
TS: 'We will have to spend months if not years trying to find a substitute!'
Fluttershy looked at Twilight with an expression of utter horror.
FS: 'You... Do you only care about us for that?'
She backed up and crouched in the corner.
Celestia: 'Actually, we do have a substitute right now.'
Celestia: 'As much as I hate to admit it, Anonymous' actions were at least partially justified.'
Celestia: 'More so, all of them were true to his heart.'
Celestia: 'He is the most honest p0ny... Person Equestria has right now.'
Celestia: 'Nevertheless, two of my guards are to accompany him at all times.'
Celestia: 'I know that this will be hard for all of you... But try to stay friends. Please.'
Her voice slipped on that last word. She turned around and left, leaving the two promised
guards standing at the door.

An outcome like this was kind of unexpected for all the parties involved.
The Elements were taken aback.
After about half a minute of awkward silence Rarity finally found some words:
RT: 'I guess we have a lot to think about right now.'
RT: 'Rainbow Dash, Anonymous, it was pleasure to meet you...'
She shuddered, understanding what she had just said and rushed out of the building,
Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle following her.
Pinkie stood there for a second alone, just looking at you with a nondescript expression.
Her hair was somewhat... Deflated? Then she turned and just walked away.

You patted Dashie's head, making her sport a heavy blush.
Your grandfather always told you that honesty is the best policy.

Meanwhile on the road to the Fluttershy's cottage a white filly with two-colored hair
was toying with a strange gem she had just found on the ground. It was so cool and unusual...
Maybe if she found more like this and made a splendid dress, she could get her cutie mark?
