  Many companies are developing aircraft that could not only to fly, but also to move - like ordinary cars.
  
  The main task of such hybrid aircraft is to solve the problem of urban mobility.
  
  In the variant of a flying car, the solution to the problem of urban mobility is not carried out through the use of modified airplane - modified to such an extent that the airplane is able to use the roofs of skyscrapers for take-off and landing. The designers go further - they are trying to create a hybrid device - a flying car, a car-airplane.
  
  On this trajectory of technology development, such a concept as "a vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft " appeared.
  
  This concept - "eVTOL" - puts a vertical take-off and landing airplane next (in concept) to a flying car.
  
  eVTOL is (in the most commonly accepted sense) an airplane, not a helicopter.
  
  If we understand eVTOL as an airplane, then it is clear that eVTOL differs from a car-airplane and from a car-helicopter. eVTOL should have the ability to take off and land vertically, but eVTOL does not necessarily have the qualities of a car.
  
  So, we can see the line of concepts "flying car" ("car-airplane", "car-helicopter"), eVTOL. Nearby these the notions are the models of "planes" and "helicopters" for urban use.
  
  Vertical lifting spinning rotors (screws, vertical propellers) are typical for various aircraft. The most common models using lifting spinning rotors are helicopters.
  
  However, in the line of lifting spinning rotors (lifting screws) (vertical propellers), there are a screws placed in a kind of air tubes - they can be called "channel fans (propellers)" ("ducted fans" for vertical lift). Devices with "channel fans (propellers)" can be conditionally attributed to helicopters. At the same time, we can also recall the sledges - sledges that were driven by a air propeller. Maybe the concept of "vertical" [device] (sledges, car, airplane ...) may also be useful to refer to flying devices with "duct fans (propellers)" ("ducted fans" for vertical lift). Even a helicopter can become "vertical".   Car-airplanes face the problem of wings - how to navigate highways with wings that create interference for road users? Folding wings? - These are new problems.
  
  One of the variants of the car-airplane is the AirCar (V5) of the Slovak aviation company Klein Vision. This model can fly at speeds of more than 100 mph (160 kilometers per hour) and climb to an altitude of up to 8000 feet (2500 meters). The Slovak Transport Authority officially allowed him to fly.
  
  For the take-off of this model, a strip of 300 meters long is required.
  
  The real prototype of the Klein Vision is equipped with a BMW internal combustion engine, a propeller and runs on conventional fuel.
  
  Judging by the descriptions, the technical characteristics provide satisfactory flight qualities.
  
  But how to move on public roads with wings?
  
  The possibility of "transformation" is mentioned, "the wing and tail deployment/retraction mechanism", which turns a car into an airplane. We have not found detailed information.
