Naturally, we felt interest, when we saw information about the publication of an article by Pavel Latushko in POLITICO. We found this material and read it.
Pavel Latushko's material is also devoted to the topic "a year has passed since the elections."
I took note of this material and did not intend to react to it.
Nevertheless, one phrase by Pavel Latushko remained in my memory: "One powerful signal would be for the EU to officially recognize Svetlana Tikhanovskaya as the legitimate president of Belarus."
In my scientific article there was the phrase "An important fact was the refusal of the opposition candidate from the inauguration."
Pavel Latushko's statement as if implies that Svetlana Tikhanovskaya expressed her consent to the inauguration; accordingly, governments can recognize her as a president.
So, if we argued that the opposition candidate refused from the inauguration, then Pavel Latushko's statement indirectly testifies to the fact that, on the contrary, the opposition candidate agrees to the inauguration.
Thus, regardless of political assessments and views on the situation in (and around) Belarus, there is an issue of fact.
And after the issue of fact, a question mark appears.
