As simple as this geographical name ("Камышеваха" "Komyshuvakha") seems, it was not so easy to find its "roots" in the dictionaries available to me.
I started the morning with a cursory reading of Alexander Alexandrovich Krivosheev's book "The Don Ulus of the Golden Horde" (Rostov-on-Don, 2007) [Александр Александрович Кривошеев "Донской улус Золотой Орды" (Ростов-на-Дону, 2007)].
This book is yet another example of excellent, innovative scientific development. These ideas would be passed through scientific discussions, through conferences, through publications, let the author to be cooking in scientific juice - and a new horizons, a new scientific knowledge, a new scientific direction would open.
As in many other cases, a talented person in Russia, in the modern scientific community, was already satisfied that he at least published his ideas in a reputable publishing house (at his, author"s, own expense?).
This book contains a review by Yu.N. Kurazhkovsky (Ю.Н. Куражковский), doctor of geographical sciences, professor, with recommendations for the immediate publication of the book by A.A. Krivosheev. It turns out that A.A. Krivosheev, at least, is recognized by the "official science", even if he is not admitted to well-paid, respected and calm positions? Alas, the name of Kurazhkovsky (placed above the review published in the book) is in a mourning frame ...
A.A. Krivosheev writes: "... in the Rostov region there are three Kamyshevakhs. ... in the Turkic languages - "kamish, kuga" - "reed". ... Komyshuvakha, more precisely, its ending "-ha", the Proto-Slavic language inherited from its Indo-European roots ... "(p. 43-44).
It is interesting. We start with the Dictionary of the Ancient Slavic Language by A.V. Starchevsky.
In it we do not find anything that could clarify the origin of the word "Kamyshevaha".
The same situation is with the Dictionary by F.I. Buslaev.
Somehow these dictionaries do not "like" the word "камыш kamush bulrush".
The Etymological Dictionary by A.G. Preobrazhensky directs to the Turkic and Turkish languages, to the words "reed" and "камыш kamush bulrush".
The Dictionary by Vladimir Dal explains what "камыш kamush bulrush" ("reed") is. This dictionary seems to give a clue concerning the ending (we focus on Krivosheev text, so as not to go into linguistic discussions) "- ha".
"-ha" (I'm guessing) allows to create a new noun from a verb (or noun). Examples: переруха turmoil, пустополоха wasteland, etc. In a number of cases, "-ha" fixes a certain positive emotional connotation, a connotation of a benevolent attitude: for example, , "птаха" "bird".
Having taken note of the assistance of Vladimir Dal, we move forward.
(Besides, Vladimir Dal has "ГАЙ GAY Hai, ... dubrova, grove, forest; small detached deciduous, not coniferous forest, especially in low places, in meadows; island, detachable, clean forest in bush thickets ... | ... donsk . a separate bulrush [reed] swamp place...".
The geographical name "Zelenyi Hai" ("Green Hai") that I heard earlier did not prompt me to independent toponymic searches ...).

In the Dictionary of the Ancient Sanskrit Language, we find a word that, when using modern letters - very conditionally (incorrectly) - can be written as follows: munja - sedge, reed.
In the Ancient Turkic Dictionary, I do not find words that begin with "KAM" and mean "камыш kamush bulrush" ("reeds").
However, there is a word in this dictionary that, using modern Latin letters, can be represented as follows: "KAMISVARI". KAMISVARI is one of the gods.
We combine all the previously received information. We put "камыш kamush bulrush" ("reed") in the first place. We rely on Vladimir Dal and on the Ancient Turkic Dictionary.
Our version: "Камышеваха Komyshuvakha is a blessed (favorable) place, abundantly overgrown with камыш kamush bulrush (reeds)."
