Some more thoughts after reading the interview given by the Russian foreign minister Lavrov.
There are such nice people with ancient history and ancient culture - Koreans.
A certain number of Koreans live in Russia.
Many of them - inhabitants of the North part of the Korean Peninsula. Many - residents of the South part of the Peninsula.
Those who live in the South part of the Korean Peninsula, financially feel themselves, apparently, not bad. But perhaps they are worried about the future-how will things go in Korea (in General)?
Those Koreans who live in the North part of the Peninsula, - I assume,-feel more discomfort. First, the most residents, they are not very financially secure. Secondly, there is a serious risk of involvement in military operations. Thirdly, as well as inhabitants of the South part of the peninsula, they are anxious about the course of affairs in Korea (in a whole).
Maybe Russia doesn't have many opportunities. But, nevertheless, the inhabitants of the Korean Peninsula are the Russia's neighbors. And in General, they - are a nice, hardworking, cultured people.
Maybe publish something like a Declaration?
To declare sympathy for the Koreans - in General, and for the inhabitants of the Korean Peninsula (northern and southern parts of the Peninsula) - in particular.
To express the Russia's sympathy for the situation, in which in this historical period the inhabitants of Korea (both the North and, partly, the South) are?
To declare the intention to help: even if not materially, then at least - by a diplomatic actions?..
If to paraphrase the well-known words, "Regimes come and leave, but the Korean people, the Korean Peninsula - remain."..
